COMMERCIAL WORK
TECHNICAL SECTION
For most of my commercial work I use the Mamiya RZ-67 camera system.
My most frequently used lenses are the excellent 50mm, the 90mm, the 140mm Macro and the 250mm APO.
Contact Mamiya America for further information.
I work in my STUDIO or frequently I'm called upon to work on location.
I use the same strobes both in the studio and on location: a Goddard 3200 w/s pack and a variety of Balcar packs from 1200 - 2400 w/s.
The studio is equipped with Matthews grip equipment.
I use a variety of color films including the new Kodak Ekrachrome S 100 ISO film, the 160 Tungsten Ektachrome, VPS 160 and others.
For black and white, I generally use Agfapan 400 and Kodak Tri-X. They are not interchangeable in my mind.
Each has its own unique characteristics that "season" the image
in their own way.
I would like to thank Agfa GmbH for the generous
support I've received from them over the last ten years.
I process my films in my own lab using 3 ½ gallon deep tanks using Agfa Rodinal or Kodak T-Max RS depending on the film.
My prints are made using Forté VC papers developed in a
combination of Kodak Selectol Soft and Dektol developers.
After development
the prints are toned in a preparation including copper and selenium toners.
